What are the hours of operation at Buenaventura Golf Course?

The course is open daily from sunrise to sunset. The golf shop generally opens at 6:30 AM and closes at dusk. Hours may vary seasonally or due to weather.

Does Buenaventura Golf Course offer golf lessons?

Is Buenaventura Golf Course open to the public?

Yes! Buenaventura Golf Course is a public 18-hole facility* owned by the City of Ventura and operated by KemperSports, open to residents and visitors year-round. *14-holes are currently open as of May 2025.

Does Buenaventura Golf Course have a driving range or practice facilities?

No, Buenaventura Golf Course does not have a driving range.  It does have a large practice putting green and a couple of warm up nets for irons use only.

Are golf carts included with a tee time at Buenaventura?

Golf carts are available for rent. The rate is $14 per rider for the current 14-hole layout.  Pull carts are also available for $7 each.

What kind of dining options are available at Buenaventura Golf Course?

Currently, Buenaventura does not have on-site dining options.  There are limited snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the golf shop.

Does Buenaventura Golf Course offer golf memberships or loyalty programs?
